New Lineup Updated!

New music to this years event lineup:
The Colorado Pork & Hops Challenge has become one of the top annual events in Western Colorado. On the weekend of September 13th & 14th at Lincoln Park in beautiful Grand Junction, the 2013 Colorado Pork & Hops Challenge kicks off with over 13,000 people coming out for this All-American Family Festival which includes a professional KCBS BBQ competition where over 50 professional BBQ teams from all over the country flock to Grand Junction to compete for over $20,500 in cash and bragging rights. An Amatuer BBQ competition for local contestants will also take place for anyone who thinks their BBQ is the best in the city. There will also be BBQ tasting as well as activities for the whole family - check back soon for updates. Several food vendors will be serving up award winning lip smackin' BBQ and other festival favorites. Ice cold Budlight through out the event and tons of live bands will be performing as cap off the event Saturday night with a great headliner band (TBA).

US Bank “People’s Choice” Professional BBQ Sampling: Saturday 1:30pm
  • Located in the main event grounds - $5 gets you 10 samples from the pros. Buy as many as you want and vote for your favorite (til samples are gone). US Bank will donate 100% of the proceeds in to the “United Way”, a local non-profit charitable organization, later that night on stage. US Bank will also award the winning “People’s Choice” Professional Team from your votes with a $500 check!
